Great shoes for the money

Runs a little small (takes true to size for everyday wear). . I went up a half size and they feel great. They fit great right out of the box, so I know if I add super legs to them, they're going to be awesome. Planning on taking them for the Camino de Santiago so update that later.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Great price and great shoes

I would give 5 stars but I bought these for my husband for work and he loves them very much and will not wear them to work. He says they are too pretty to wear and the price was very decent which was one of the reasons I bought these shoes. I was looking for hiking shoes that would last more than a few weeks in the Florida summer, but likes being able to wear them every day.

Great job nice shoes

I bought them for a trip to Ireland. I needed shoes for every terrain, from paved paths to dirt tracks to rock hiking, and also waterproof ones. I was not disappointed, these shoes passed all tests. My socks never got wet and it rained heavily! And the grip on slippery rocks was great, I felt safe with every step. I have blue shoes that I think look great.

Great hiking shoes

Bought for Spring/Summer/Autumn hiking. Got them just in time for the trip to the Adirondacks. Based on Merrel hiking shoes and boots I can easily say that these are the best hiking shoes I have ever had. I don't usually write reviews, so you know if I feel compelled enough to write a review, it's worth it. Incredibly comfortable right out of the box, I didn't feel like breaking them at all. I usually wear wider shoes because narrow shoes hurt me. No discomfort when walking on hikes. And the…

Neck Loose - YUP

Others have mentioned that they loosen when bent - and they stay tight even when laced tight. Tomorrow I'll go hiking and give an update on the 2 hour fit and traction in sandy mud(y) soil and report back later. The style is stunning from the sides, the top is lackluster at best. The bottom tread is confusing, but we'll soon see if the new treads will stick or slide. ?Overview of the update from 10/28/2019. This shoe surprisingly showed excellent traction in dry, loose mud, soft rocks and…

  • Great for me

Excellent traction 👌🏼

I have many pairs of running shoes, most of them with Gore-Tex linings. I was looking for a pair that wasn't waterproof specifically for the trail I hike monthly and will cross water because it's deep enough for water to come in from above rendering the Gore-Tex useless. Also, once water gets in, it can't get out, which is awful. They weren't as comfortable as my Solomon hiking boots or my ASICS Gel Venture casual shoes, but they were decent. Where these shoes shine is in traction. I just…

FedEx driver/passenger. 936 miles covered in 3 months

I've been wearing light running shoes for work at work for 6 months. So putting them on was a lot harder than these, but a lot easier than work boots. The first day I wore them I made 160 home deliveries during a thunderstorm/flood warning that lasted all day, walked through some pretty big puddles and walked on a lot of muddy/muddy lawns. Then step on the floor of a stainless steel truck with your butt wet. The soles grip well on rocks, gravel, pavement, tamped concrete, asphalt, wet railroad…

Good first impression

Just received the shoe and tried it on at home to feel it. Will update later but these are my first impressions: 1) I used to have size 9 AX2's and they fit perfectly. I bought them a size 9 and they fit, which is a plus as there is virtually no sizing. 2) As other people say, the heel wobbles a bit no matter how tight you tie your laces. It's an issue so I'll have to see how well it holds up for the next update. 3) There's little in the way of cushioning or arch support. If I remember…

Comfortable shoes for long hikes

I usually go hiking once a week and for a while I only wear tennis shoes with memory foam underneath. However, as I became more experienced, my campaigns became longer and more difficult. After a 12-mile hike, multiple blisters on my feet, and constant slipping along the way, I had to make a change. After wearing them for 2 months I can honestly say that these Addidas hiking shoes have revolutionized how I want my feet to feel on the trail. End of the day trip. I get incredible traction on…
