I am shocked by the many great reviews. I ordered size 11 for my 4 year old. 11 is usually a little big for her so I figured we were safe. It was so hard to get her up. It should never be a problem if the shoes are too big for you. The size is very wrong and the quality is terrible.

They are well made, super cute, light…. All is well. But I will tell you that if the child has wide shoes (e.g. xw or xxw shoes), then they will not work. The tongue is not very stretched or open for wide feet. We had to cut a gap for my son to fit his foot in, there is plenty of room in the trunk. But getting dressed was a problem. We love the shoes but we personally will not be using them due to slipping issues.
