My 11 year old son found the shoes very comfortable and "cool" to wear with friends, but they only lasted 4 months before holes in the fabric appeared and he started wearing insoles. He wore them every day for 4 months. Although I would have liked a few months more life.

In the picture of the shoes I ordered there is velcro, on the shoes I received there is no velcro. I ordered them because of the velcro closure.

I've always been a fan of Adidas but this is my second pair of these shoes that I've bought in less than a year and they just don't hold up to even moderate use by my child. I thought I just got a bad pair the first time, but first the side stripes on both pairs of shoes fell off, and then the tip of the front sole came off.

My son was so excited about these shoes but no longer wears them because the tongue of the shoe doesn't sit flat on his foot. I tried to test this and he gets knocked off and then bruises when tied like that It has to be that tight or too loose to wear while running.

These are very good running shoes for active kids who like to run because they are light and very flexible. However, they are also bad for active toddlers as the top ripped in a few places and ripped after only a month of wear. (This does not apply to my child's other sneakers.) I probably won't buy another pair in a larger size due to the quality.

Great shoes! I love how they look on my son. However, like the boys, he is rather rough with clothes and shoes. The fabric covering the top of the socks (looks like mesh) had small holes in it after a few months and now after 3-4 months of wearing the whole piece of fabric is on the top of the boot. mostly flapping in the wind, it has hitherto been withdrawn. Real shoes still hold up well under the fabric so I think it's more of a cosmetic issue but still annoying. I'm not sure I would buy them
