Bad quality: girl

Cute and comfortable but very poor quality. They arrived on March 29th. My daughter only wore them for 2.5 weeks and they fell apart. The loops that hold the laces have come loose and can no longer be tied properly. They're basically useless right now. I would return them if I had the box.

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • Don't really like it, everything is ok

Poor quality design

We LOVE adidas shoes, they are almost the only shoes we buy for our son. However, this particular design was poorly made, at least for children. The orange loops keep the laces in place, and within a week of actually wearing them, almost all of the orange loops had come loose from the shoe, leaving the laces with nothing to hold them in place. Very disappointed with this design.

Should be undersold

Shoes are great although I don't like the way they tie. Laces are connected by lace loops which can eventually break like the first pair that came home so I had to return the first order. Update: As expected, after a few months these lace loops came loose. It hasn't even been 4 months since they fell apart. Downgrading my original 5 stars to 3.

  • Simple design

  • Vulgarity

Fell apart on day 3

Adidas seems to have problems with the eyelets on the shoes. The eyelets are made of laces and are not attached to the boot very well. And it seems this shoe isn't the only problem as I see photos of other shoes made in a similar way where the eyelets diverge. My son liked the shoes and hated them when I told him they should be back. I traded for another pair hoping the next pair would hold.

Laces don't hold up girl

I liked the simplicity of these shoes, but the laces don't last long. Instead of going through holes in the shoe, the laces go through elastic loops. Elastic loops broke after a month of wear. That said, my son doesn't tie his laces regularly and prefers to just put them on, so I don't think they would last as long if he tightened his laces every morning. I still love the Adidas brand, this design just worked.

Poor design - tried TWICE

We usually love adidas shoes but this one was a big disappointment. The orange thread you use for the laces in these boots WILL come out. In this case they become unacceptable. This happened for the first time on a pair we bought from a local sporting goods store after just three days. We returned them and decided to try again. We ordered them from Revain for the second time and two weeks later the same thing happened. I extended and missed the return deadline so we're stuck with a pair of…

What did you think!

At first I thought the orange double threads near the laces were just a decorative element. Oops, I was wrong! These are actually laces that are glued to the side of the boot where the laces go. So they get pulled and pulled every time my kid ties his shoelaces. Big shock as they broke one by one leaving the shoes in ruins in less than 3 weeks. It was a terrible adidas design. I'm shocked it ever passes quality control. There was no other way to thread the laces until new shoes came along. I…

These shoes are lame - poor quality

I wanted to love them. They look good and are perfect for a dress code, but the shoes aren't built to last. I bought them a month before school started and when my son used them we no longer had a return window which is a real shame because they didn't work when he first used them. After the first day of school, the loops through which the shoelaces are threaded broke off on both shoes! What a waste. I will still contact someone and find out about a refund. To improvise or ignore that I just…
