Great little device

Great little device. It's solid but not precise, just inherently. I used two at a time to hold opposite ends of a pair of rectangles at an angle to each other. Very good.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some little things

Revainrating 4 out of 5

They are very sensitive and not easy to adjust.

Bought two. One broke when I received it (the B-pillar connector was in my pocket), the other broke the same way when it fell off my workbench. I could still use staples to glue two pieces of wood together at a 105 degree angle, but staples would be easier to use if they didn't break.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • silent

One of the few adjustable angle clamps on the market

It amazes me how few adjustable angle clamps there are on the market. For the price it works quite well. - 1 star for my only complaint, the tensioners are made of aluminum that is too thin and bend like hell when tightening and loosening. I'll cut them off and replace them with a 16p nail.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Awesome clamps in hand tools

You'll need a protractor to set right angles, but these clamps hold boards together securely so they can be nailed, screwed, or glued. I use 2 of these on each end of 12.5" boards and it all comes together perfectly. The pony is no longer manufactured so they may not be available. So if you need 1 or 2 of these, buy them now. The only other adjustable clamps I could find cost over $700.

Pros
  • Hands-free work
Cons
  • Very expensive

Good for what I do

I have two of these to glue an octagonal window frame with bird's mouth connectors, which may seem rather esoteric, but the clips work well and fill a need that is long overdue. They are easier to use than a band clamp for partial assemblies. You can quickly adjust them to any angle, and they can be attached (screwed) to a bracket to make brackets. They're well made but not heavy - if you need an adjustable clamp for even edge pressure for big bonding jobs or for welding something substantial…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly creased

Great as long as you use the protractor

My only complaint about this item is that setting the angle based on the numbers around the arc on the product itself is quite odd and only the number of degrees appear too tenth. There is a screw that needs to be loosened to change the angle and there is a line on the frame next to that screw. This is the line you use to set the angle, which is a bit counterintuitive when looking at the clamp. What can I say, very accurate. I set it to 90 degrees and checked with a protractor and it was true…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • There are new competitors
