GOOD idea, but not the answer.

I gave it 2 stars because it focused on what I was reading in the middle of the page - when I moved my eyes to continue reading it was blurry. What I was missing was peripheral vision with no refocusing or head movement. KEN

Not recommended for everyday use, so why 5 stars?

As the title suggests, I would not recommend these glasses as an everyday item. That said, if you've lost your real glasses/contacts, or are in a situation where the net isn't working (like Texas in the winter), I would read them as a last resort, or even for a book. Will definitely be keeping my pair and buying a second one in case anyone else needs a temporary pair to get around. If you're looking for everyday use, invest in yourself, invest in your health, don't skimp.

Unfortunately, there is a time after the operation when the eye needs to get used to the new lens, so my eye doctor would not immediately prescribe new glasses. My husband is unable to see in one eye due to the severity of his cataracts and lost a pair of glasses that would fit his
