The concept is good but the product is not worth the money I paid for it ($27.99). It's easy, but not difficult. It would probably be better to cover it with a cloth or something rather than leave the plastic trim as is. The side mouse tray is angled and there are no clips or anything to prevent the mouse from sliding in any direction when moving the laptop. Updated - The company sent me a replacement laptop and I am very pleased. I use it every day. I'm always very aware of the pressure I'm putting on him when I paint and draw. So I have mixed feelings about this lap table. I had a lot of bruises on my legs from having my laptop on them all day so that was the main reason I bought this. I love that the lap table now has a "lifter" that adjusts the angle of the laptop so I'm looking straight ahead instead of down; It makes a HUGE difference in how my neck feels.
