To be honest I wasn't expecting much for the price but I was wrong. I have used several nylon straps with plastic buckles and so far (2 weeks) rate this one as the best. The bolt is safer than any of my others; In fact, right from the start I couldn't put it on or take it off until I figured out how to bend back the buckle and slide the belt in and out. Worked well the first time I used it. The plastic buckle fell away from the rest of the belt as soon as I took it off that day. The plastic didn't break, but fell apart - it stopped sticking to the belt, I had to figure out how to attach everything. Does it now with every use and the plastic weakens in anticipation of it breaking by the day. It was very cheap, maybe it was worth it and that's why I got 1 star.

The belt itself was great. However, I am not happy that the loop holding the extra strap falls off easily as there is nothing stopping it from slipping off the strap. I lost it and was left with one foot of the strap hanging awkwardly by my side. I suppose a quick fix would be to sew the loop to the belt but when I realized the loop was gone.

Buckle on one does not work, tie. You will need to move the strap and buckle latch to remove it. If you try to cut the belt, the nylon will wear down so much that you can't even cut it cleanly with razor sharp scissors, and it doesn't melt well with a lighter. Processed. These are high quality belts. This is a military style nylon fabric that is not real fabric. If you're cutting to length, you'll have to hit the edge with a lighter to seal the cut, but that's easy. The buckle is silent and effectively holds the belt without slipping. And it won't work with an airport metal detector because the buckle is made of durable plastic. Seems strong and sturdy but still stylish.

These belts represent excellent value for money and are the best adjustable belts we have purchased. This is my husband and sons favorite because it has combs that you can easily trim so you don't end up with a dangling bun. It doesn't crumble, it needs to be cut.
