    Love this backpack in Hiking Daypacks

    This backpack system is perfect for shopping. I don't have a car and live in a pedestrian zone. I use it to shop at Trader Joe's and farmers markets. It's a lot easier than carrying a full bag home.

    Sewn wrong. Too bad.

    When I first used this system, I noticed that the center strap was sewn on incorrectly - it was sewn on the wrong way. I thought it was just me but I looked at all the reference photos and it turns out I received a defective item. Too bad. Must return.

    The straps are comfortable and I love the way it fits mine.

    One of the plastic hinges broke the second time I used it and I ended up with maybe 20 pounds to eat. I plan to use it just as a backpack to tie all the connection points with paracord. I don't trust plastic joints. The straps are comfortable and I like the way they sit on my back, but the plastic connections aren't very good.

    Very good product. Some improvements can make it great.

    Much better than the original straps that came with the set. I think trying to force Packbasket to serve multiple configurations reduces the usefulness of each configuration a bit. At least I know I'll be using it as a backpack 100% of the time. I would appreciate if these improved straps sewed on like a normal backpack. Less complicated, safer, more comfortable and hopefully the fit adjustments stay where I set them.

    It's my fault - outdoor recreation

    "Basket NOT included". This is at the bottom of the product description. Everything else on the product page shows the backpack system and basket together and I made the wrong assumption. my fault Be careful. I found the instructions too small and poorly printed to attach. I'm not very good at spatial relationships, and as simple as it may seem, it took me 15 minutes to attach it to the hoop. Hand to the other and it hits my leg.

    The most successful purchase we made before moving to Mexico!

    This system is perfect for our life in Mexico! We bought two backpacks, two sets of backpack straps and an insulated cooler bag before moving to Mexico for a year where we had to live without a car. We use them every time we go to the grocery store or fruit market and they are perfect. I love that they fold up to get to market but open fully (and stay open thanks to the sturdy internal frame) when we go shopping again. The backpack straps are easy to attach and adjust even for a small woman…

    Great idea but watch the weight

    I bought this unit to help me carry groceries from the store to my top floor apartment. My biggest issues are with the soda which I buy in 16 ounce bottles as I usually buy 4 x 6 packs.4 6 packs just fit snugly in the packbasket and this device makes it very easy to carry the soda up the stairs bring to. That was until the backpack system crashed and I lost almost everything on the way up. It appears that one of the plastic tabs on the system has broken and the fabric tab that the other plastic
