Yes but. Best Accessories and Supplies

The negative wire had a cold solder joint resulting in intermittent power supply to my radio. Fixed it in 5 minutes with a soldering iron (including heating up the iron) but I didn't have to fix a brand new item. Otherwise it does what it should.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Big and bulky

very fine wire 18 gauge or less.

The actual cross section of the wire is very small in my opinion, no more than 18 gauge. he is very isolated. Not sure if it will handle my FT-8900 at high power but it's a very short run so it should be ok but I definitely won't be buying this brand again.

Pros
  • Excellent price
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Thin wire is insufficient, even dangerous.

The thin wire couldn't squeeze out enough pixie to transmit from my G707, even on low power! Luckily, this radio's microcontroller resets before the wires can melt and set my house on fire. I ended up tossing the wires in the parts bin and replacing my own 10 AWG spade-soldered jumper wire with a T-connector. So I ended up paying too much for a T-connector.

Identical to Yaesu mobile unit

Used to install a double mount on another car. This is the cable that comes with the new Yaesu radios. Good quality, same fit/function as original.

Quality part, longer lasting than expected

This is for connecting a new radio to a new power supply - I didn't want to cut the car cigar lighter adapter that came with it. more than enough thickness for the expected power consumption and with thick insulation. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised by the weight of the wires, I was expecting less. Two fuses, one on each side. Standard T-connector. This type of part is simple and could be assembled at home if the parts were available or if more than one was needed. But I don't have the…

Very flexible: cables and interconnects

This cable fits both Yaesu mobile radios and Kenwood mobile radios with a separate T-connector. It is made of thick wire and is very flexible. More flexible than factory cables. The other end is tinned. On the other end I used Powerpole connectors. Good product. I would do business with this company again.

Pros
  • I'm looking forward to it
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about that, everything is fine

Small Gauge Cable at Cables & Interconnects

The image in this review compares the power cord that came with the ICOM IC-2300H to the Agile Shop cable. The top two wires are the ICOM power cable and the bottom two wires are the agile shop power cable. I calibrated both cables. The ICOM cable is 0.102" (10AWG) and the Agile Shop cable is 0.050" (16AWG). I use this cable to power the radio on the workbench while keeping the entire cable in view. Others might want to run this car battery cable through the firewall and radio in the car, I…

Quality part, stronger than expected

Needed to connect a new radio to a new power supply - I didn't want to cut off the car cigarette lighter adapter that came with it. There are more than enough wires. Pressure gauge for the expected power consumption and with thick insulation. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised by the weight of the wires, I was expecting less. Two fuses, one on each side. Standard T-connector. This type of part is simple and could be assembled at home if the parts were available or if more than one was needed…

Cons
  • Poor instructions

Lighter than expected but usable. UPDATED

Updated: This cord appears to be well made and works with my Kenwood TM-V71A. The wires are much smaller than the original Kenwood cable. Since the wires are unmarked, I believe they are 16 gauge wires with very thick insulation. The type of insulation is not marked, therefore it cannot be determined whether it is suitable for installation in a vehicle. With that in mind I think it could be used in your cabin or as a backup. Not sure if I will use it for vehicle wiring. Update, after a few…
