Fits my needs.

This was bought to replace an old Zmodo which I regretted from day one. Used hard drive and cameras. Inexpensive and easy to set up. Unfortunately it's not suitable for remote access as I wouldn't agree with the application's requirements for almost full access to my phone since the base is China. The transition to cloud security begins.

Returned because the device cannot be installed with the code provided, tried twice.

Device will not work without code provided/emailed by company. This is obviously a security measure, but renders the device unusable if the code doesn't work. You need to create an account and they will send you a code to activate the DVR. I was emailed a 4 digit code but the device said the code is invalid, a 6 digit code or more is required. I tried twice, same result. I don't have time to call them so I returned it and ordered a ZOSI brand DVR. I wanted to try a new brand hoping

Works great for the price

Much more convenient than the zosi brand. I had it a little. I wanted to see how he behaved after a while, not jump on "his awesome" van. I had to replace my 8 channel Zosi as it fell apart after about 2 years and I still needed more camera slots. It still makes heavy use of zosi branded cameras. The quality of night vision is normal, it is enough to distinguish common shapes even in lighted places. Daytime visibility is excellent, you can see the colors and shapes from a decent distance…
