Installation was a bit tricky but everything works fine. I hope this discourages passers-by from throwing their rubbish in our bins.

I had to buy these to prevent unauthorized use by some neighbors. They were sooooo easy to install and worked so well. You will receive two keys in each lock strap. Very adjustable. I'm so happy I got them.

EDIT: Changed from 3 stars to 1. Because they are so long, they bothered our garbage collector and broke off. It only took about 3 months. not worth your time. The straps are too long and not very adjustable. I had to screw the contacts very deep into my trash can. I took this one because it was the cheapest option and I wish I had paid a little more. For something more designed, I say it works, my garbage cans are no longer being raided by garbage pandas.

I wasn't actually planning to buy this one but thought I could make it work. Except it doesn't work without cutting the seams and re-stitching one end I think. They foolishly attached both ends of the long piece with plastic clips, leaving only the short pieces exposed. Sorry I didn't take a picture. But you have to be able to cut a long piece to fit and they made that impossible 🙄 it might be fine eventually but it annoys me that I have to re-sew it.
