I am a 67 year old male with a quad shunt and a pacemaker. I'm still reasonably physically fit. Of course not as much as we would like. I bought this tactical stick as compensation in case I was mistaken for an "easy target" for a degenerate. This stick will be a great defensive tool. I replaced the hard tip with a soft rubber tip.

I love the strength of this cane! I used to have a solid aluminum stick that broke to fit in my backpack while sitting on my motorcycle, but it broke after 5 years and this company no longer makes it. It is very easy to disassemble, but after assembling, it will be durable. However, the diameter makes it difficult to find the tips. The kit includes a hard plastic that slides on the sidewalk or floor. You can use chair leg caps but I use about 1 a month.

The thing is thick and heavy. The T-handle isn't very ergonomic, but it works. It seems that hammer and shards are very important. The included foot/end is made of hard plastic and is very slippery on tile floors. Great for outdoor use but not safe if used as hardwood tubing, tile or linoleum. I keep it to myself as it seems useful, but the softer rubber tip and offset grip add to the overall usefulness.
