I bought this to replace an awesome top coat I left out in the sun (oops). This top stays on pretty well, but it does have some level of coverage. It takes some of the shine off the polish, especially compared to other top coats I've used. It also has a very soft lilac-purple hue. I applied this over regular nail polish and this gel coat is very thin (compared to Gellen and OneDor) - it spreads all over the nail.
