The thing has power but it's very slow I knew it but when you use it it's very time consuming even with the sharpest drill bit suitable for boron is steel on new cars but my adapter that screws into the plastic handle keeps loosening, the threads are snapping so my drill bit will soon dull, I think 550rpm would be better
Died after 2 weeks of use at work. I can hold a cartridge in one hand, pull the trigger and hear the motor turning. It is impossible to drill without stopping. Has no torque. Used for drilling 1/2 - 3/4" steel chassis to make 11/16 or 13/16 holes. Pilot, drill, ream to enlarge the holes. Obviously you can't handle heavy work. If You need a drill for super -heavy duty is not the same.
