I used to use a hand pump and it seemed to take forever to inflate the exercise ball. In this case I needed an extra 3 cm, so the pump needs to be stirred a little. This is probably why my ball is under-inflated. It was brilliant! I had no problem getting the ball to the right height. The only problem was the pump slipping on the floor, which I solved by putting a foot behind it to keep it in place (hardwood floors). Highly recommend if you need a hand pump!

I bought this pump for a school project. I had to develop a tool that would open a brown lunch bag and then dip a toothpick into it. I love this pump! I use it on my Advanced Elements kayaks which require various 1psi (form tubes), 2psi (main tubes) and 6psi (drop bottom) and it handles all of them very well. For the main pipes and bottom, you'll have to slow down a bit on the last few pumps and make sure your foot is centered on the bellows, but it gets the job done. Great pump for inflating kayaks (purchased with Airhead Montana). Using a foot pump like this really simplifies the whole pre-launch process, i.e. requires no (or very little) sweating. A built in "pressure switch" prevents you from over inflating the kayak and when you have reached the right pressure you can tell by the feel of the foot pump. I was skeptical after reading reviews of people using it to inflate their air mattresses in minutes, but it's absolutely true! I have The Shrunks 2-Per Travel Mattress, which technically has "handrails" around it that also need to be inflated. The pump is squeezed and held in place by a flat double plastic hook. It's a little tricky to squeeze the pump back after use, but it's possible with a little effort. The pump inflated my exercise ball in just a few pumps. It was wonderful! My main issue, which I deducted a star for, was that the various plastic adapters are made out of fairly cheap plastic.
