It was a good, well-folded canister. I put sugar in it and have been using it for a week now. The latches still hold the seal and I haven't noticed any problems. One of the things I liked the most was the handwritten note in the packaging. You rarely see that now and that keeps me as a regular customer.

I bought these tins because they were advertised as 'stainless steel' but once I started using them I realized they were NOT stainless steel. I saw some rust spots near the lid. I thought it was some kind of dirt but it was actually rust. They are definitely not high quality stainless steel. I am totally disappointed in this product. I won't buy them again!

Quality construction and very light weight. I like that they fold up. I believe they are sealed. I put the moisture meter in one for a week and it has been rock solid in both dry and wet weather. My only concern is that the lid hinge has side play. You need to guide the lid a bit to get the right clip. At the same time, a strong loop would increase the weight and production costs. I liked the first two so much that I bought another pair.

I have seen several people complain that these canisters are not stainless steel because they will rust. The problem is that they are made from high carbon stainless steel (400 series) which means they can rust. They are corrosion resistant but not corrosion resistant. If I hadn't already crushed the cartons of these canisters they would have come back in the morning. They are very thin and thin.
