Broken jars are best for kitchen and dining room

I like the jars but the box didn't have a 'breakable' label. 2 glasses were broken and I cut my finger. Please note that the shipping process will never be gentle without a tag. Many Thanks.

Beautiful Tin - Kitchen and Dining Room

I used this for jam. Works well, tightly sealed. They look pretty and are great for keeping jam in the fridge once opened. The only problem I found was that after processing they closed so tightly that it was difficult to open them. That's both good and bad.

Pretty good in food jars and cans

Great jars but when it says it's coming it should have labels but I don't. Disappointed with this because I got my boyfriend some herbs and roots for Christmas today and wanted labels. The main reason I bought them is that everything fitted together

DO NOT TRY TO DOPE IN THESE JARS

I tried preserving jam in these jars and realized very quickly that these jars leak and the lids will never shrink. Metal cages are junk and you will be disappointed the first time you try to close them. Save yourself the headache with these glasses.

Perfect size for oatmeal, pudding, yogurt and spices

Perfect size for my oatmeal and chia seeds. One thing to note, I suggest hand washing them as my dishwasher has attacked the metal joints on the lids. I suspect they will rust if washed in the dishwasher many times, so let's hand wash them now!

Suitable for breeders

I bought different sizes and types and decided on this set. They are the perfect size and are well made. The wide opening makes it easy to get in and out of the container. If you grow herbs and dry them in batches then they are perfect for storing and dating those batches rather than using large jars or putting them in smaller ones that aren't very airtight!

AMAZON: Please (!) mark as FRAGILE for shipping! Breakage is a known problem.

The glasses look great and were carefully packed in the box but there was no 'FRAGILE' label on the shipping carton. Two of the cans were broken during transportation, and the glass after the impact is more likely to fail due to temperature changes. 10 at this price is still good value and I don't blame the seller. I will keep them and hope for the best because others have been happy.

Fragile Fixings & Instant Rust

Wasn't happy when they arrived as the bindings seemed flimsy but I'm trying to make little possets so I'm putting them in the wash as I think they're working fine for now . According to the description, they can be washed in the dishwasher. I've run them under load on a light cycle and they all have an odd coating on the mounts and the metal is rusting in the same spot. I shouldn't have expected much for $26, but I expected more.

Good Quality Mason Jars

It took me several tins to preserve a batch of Scottish chutney that bottles hot and stays fresh for years as long as the tin is sealed. They work great and have a very strong airtight seal. For best results remove the rubber gasket and metal parts from the lid, place on a baking sheet in the oven on the lowest setting and leave to rest for 30 minutes.
