Awesome Optics Tool for Science Students

As a science educator, I found this product very helpful in teaching optics concepts to my STUDENTS. Using this product our team found that it's easy to demonstrate the basic principles of light and the handling of light rays. The tools' durable build made it suitable for everyday use in the classroom and produces accurate results. However, the price is a bit higher than other optics products in the industrial and scientific market. Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone interested…

Pros
  • High-quality double convex and bi-convex lenses for science education in optics.
Cons
  • May require additional equipment to fully utilize in experiments.

Focal length 220mm NOT 250mm

I bought this lens when the first one arrived (a different FL) and its focal length was less than half the advertised. Even though the focal length of this lens is only 22cm and not 25cm, I can get it to work. I would give this 4 stars as it is sharp and there is little to no edge to edge distortion. In terms of quality control, the second of these lenses I've ordered is exactly the same. The focal length is 220mm, so manufacturing in India is tedious, not quality control. So 3 stars. Great for
