Solid hook up length impresses!

The Ajax Scientific Solid Hook Up Length proved to be a real game-changer for my wiring and connecting projects. Through trial and error, I found that this length is perfect for any DIY electrical job, and its durable build is a bonus. The hook up length will last you a few tries, making it worth your while. One slight con is that the product was a bit pricier than other hook up lengths I've purchased in the past. Overall, I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable…

Pros
  • Durable and strong material
Cons
  • May pose safety hazards if not used properly

Superior solid wire suitable for electrical cord

Superior solid wire. I used some of these on a PCB prototype project and it was probably a bit larger than I needed. It was pretty hard and thick for this application. But it worked fine and soldered well. Seems to be a good line. Just maybe not the best for the application I'm using it for.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Ridiculously thick insulation

I use 22 gauge solid wire for bending chain and am tired of paying the insane price the smelter gets for such wire. It seems like a decent deal, but the insulation looks like at least 4 times the diameter of the actual wire. While this works if you do precise wiring, it can be cumbersome. As others have pointed out, it's not copper, it's some sort of silver alloy.

Pros
  • electric cable
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.
