In mid July 2000 I mounted this camera on a recumbent trike using an expensive bracket. several times during the trip until early October 2000 when it stopped working. Insert a fully charged battery and it will light up for a few seconds and then turn off while the red light stays on. Doesn't work with any battery and I've changed the SD card and it still doesn't work. I kept the camera in a sealed case every time I used it so it never got wet. Bought this as a gift for my dad and borrowed it myself. Video quality is crisp and clear, although this particular version doesn't seem to have the stabilization that the newer model does.
