Bought this as a gift for my dad and borrowed it myself. Video quality is crisp and clear, although this particular version doesn't seem to have the stabilization that the newer model does. I love filming our adventures when we go out and need to spend some time editing and uploading for our whole family to enjoy. The only hurdle right now is that my PC settings are limited, but once I upgrade it I want to buy a newer model with stabilization and touchscreen and use my dad as a second vantage point. A great introduction to the world of action cameras! This app isn't required to operate the camera, but is useful for seeing what you're capturing at arm's length or out of sight - when it's running. I have a Moto G that is currently too busy so the app sometimes crashes and won't connect. I hope I can erase my memory and maybe this will resolve. The camera itself has always worked well, there were no glitches.
