Unfortunately the covers weren't the size I expected. I thought the lids were big enough to fit in a large mixing bowl. Not so. Set out a medium-sized bowl instead. The item has been returned.

I support the use of these "shower caps" as I am trying to get rid of plastic wrap in my home. I've had these before they were made of stronger plastic so they're unlikely to be reused than the plastic wrap I'm trying to replace.

Bought these to cover fermentation bowls and baskets during fermentation. They are great, wipe away condensation easily and fit most bowls I've used. I tore two of these around the elastic a bit due to the size of the bowl, but they can still be used for my bannetons.

One could mention 'easy to clean', 'durability' and 'durability' as suggested but I won't, I'd be lying. They're not easy to clean, the material is thinner than a mosquito's ass, and durability is yet to be decided, but my expectations are low. I bought these to cover the bowl while the dough is rising, they do the job very well. I also use it as a cover when it's not there, it works well for this purpose too. Exactly what you need! I take small but frequent steps in a better direction. I try to reduce waste and use less plastic, especially when preparing and storing food. I've done away with plastic bowls and storage containers. I use glass bowls, but sometimes one bowl is enough and I don't have a proper lid. These plastic sheets work great. They do not come into contact with food. They're pretty thin, but I'm not saying they're thin. Just be careful what you do with nails or sharp objects. There…
