My skin gets very dry, irritated and rough very quickly no matter how much water I drink. This is a wonderful combination of exfoliation and hydration. Sea salt definitely removes dead skin and makes it smooth. The oils ensure that the sea salt lubricates/does not chafe the skin and then the oils are left in to hydrate the skin. I wish I had paid more attention to other reviewers. I've tried several good salt scrubs and was looking for something better - THIS IS NOT ONE! Oils don't wash off, you NEED soap to wash the slimy residue off your hands after use or you'll leave greasy stains all over the place. The salt crystals are too big and roll instead of rubbing gently. If you've used high quality scrubs before, don't buy this stuff. If all you want is to apply baby oil to your skin, you have it in this lousy product.

I bought this scrub to replace my regular scrub as it is 'more natural'. It's very oily and I don't mind exfoliating before shaving, it adds extra moisture and makes the razor glide easier. However, the oiliness is terrible for my arms/chest/back. It breaks me and leaves a thick residue. The salt crystals are also too big. Odor, very repulsive, very strong, lemon-like candy. The salt crystals are very large and round, so there were almost no scratches. It may have been made on purpose, but it didn't feel like it exfoliates well and leaves the skin red due to too much dissolved salt, but the red color could be due to other ingredients. First of all, this is NOT for a man, at least not for this man. Second, this thing leaves a body feeling like you've oiled yourself on a stick. And not only leaves a slippery feeling, but also the floor in the shower. And if you're not careful, you'll go broke, you know what! Very greasy which I like more on the oily side but the scrub itself doesn't dissolve at all it just rolls off the body leaving only oil They like the smell of lemon or a Lemon cleanser and you don't mind rubbing the oil on your body, that's the product we use. I personally hated the smell, I don't know how they called it a Hawaiian body scrub. Hawaii doesn't smell like lemon pine needles. The worst part was not being able to get a refund for this product.
