bee dishes! Beauty & Personal Care

This is a good sunscreen that protects well but be aware that you will attract bees if you apply this lavender scented sunscreen. My kids refuse to wear this and I don't blame them. Every time they wear it to a place where there might be bees, they spend more time fending off the bees than having fun. If you don't have a problem with bees flying around you then this works great. If your kids hate bees, don't buy lavender-scented sunscreen.

Great for fair skin but difficult to wash off

We bought this sunscreen for a weekend trip to Mexico because we needed a reef safe sunscreen. A few months later we went to the Turks and Caicos for a week and it was the only sunscreen we used all the time. My wife is very fair skinned and always burns and came home with a light tan after a week! She wasn't hot at all! It was her favorite sunscreen for 4 years and she hasn't had a real sunburn since. You should definitely apply and wait 10-15 minutes before sun exposure for full protection…

Great, reliable product.

I have used this product for many years and love it. It never clogs my pores and isn't too greasy. Since it is a physical sunscreen, my skin looks a little paler than usual. I have been wearing this product on my face, neck and hands about 4 days a week for years and have had no complaints. It works great and protects my skin from the harmful effects of the sun. My local organic store has stopped selling this special unscented version and now I have to buy it online. Skin care manufacturers…

  • Useless functions

After we made the decision to switch from chemical sunscreen to physical sunscreen I bought 4 different types which worked well , physical sunscreens to try them rate which one I liked the most. This was my least favorite and I would not recommend it based on its use and effect on my skin. Note that all physical sunscreens are harder to apply and rub in than chemical sunscreens, so it's difficult to compare them. the feel of physical sunscreens versus chemical ones. Fast Foundation - Physical…

Good reef safe sunscreen but more like SPF 15

Ok I'll be honest. I was expecting a better smell based on the reviews. It has a somewhat fruity aroma, but to me it smelled mainly chemical. It was thick but applied fairly easily and didn't leave a white film. The most important thing I want to get across is that this product has nothing to do with SPF 30. I used it in Hawaii. Usually when I use SPF 30 I don't get any color at all and I don't get sunburned, but when I use SPF 15 I can sunburn but also run the risk of sunburning. I got a…
