Terrible latex/rubber smell. It's pretty strong. I left the boots on for 2 weeks and my son (9yo) was still complaining about the smell. He wears it outside when he is clearing land with my husband. Love these boots for my 3 year old son. I bought it 1/2 size bigger so he can grow in it. They're great for him in the winter when it's muddy and snowy.
