This is an elastic air line. Very flexible. Once on the link, a good one breaks before it breaks. I love it and would recommend it.

Removes air pumps, air stones, connectors. I have to reconnect the lines EVERY DAY. In 45 years of aquariums this is the WORST tube I have ever used. I order another brand and throw it in the trash where it should be.

Over the years I've bought a lot of different hoses. That's the worst. I bought 100 feet to renovate all of my aging air lines. Now I come home every day to find that a hose has come loose from the pump, check valve, bubbler or filter. At first I thought I just didn't tighten it tight enough. Then it started happening on more of my tanks. Now I have to check every connection when I get home. I now have to order 100 feet from another brand to fix asap.

The product is pleasant to the touch and easy to work with. But all my aquariums work with sponge filters. 16 sponge filters + Arlines tube for egg cups and more. All of the lines I have used this tube on have algal fungus which is extremely unsightly. None of my other tubes that are in the same tanks do this. I had to swap them all out for tubes that don't attract algae or anything else that does. It happens in places where even direct light can't get, so I'm pretty sure it's not algae. I…
