Aleph DC 1561 Surface Magnetic Contact Review

Great magnetic reed switches, used them for an outdoor project with a robotic mower (to show whether docked or not) and it works great. While not technically designed for outdoor use, they seem to seal very well so I don't expect any issues over time, but will update this review if or not the harsh Texas weather affects them. FYI, the 12-inch cable isn't as long as you might think, but it's enough to connect to another cable.

I bought another one from Revain but then found this one which was a bit smaller than the first one I bought. The small tab used to screw the contact on can be easily removed if you just want to glue the contact and magnet to the surface. I only needed 6 pins and all 6 I installed worked fine.
