Nice bright cool white LED strip!

I was able to cut and solder strips of different lengths without any problems. The LEDs on this strip are closer together so I didn't even need to diffuse them for my project. The entire strip comes in a clear plastic rectangular sleeve, so I simply cut the top of the sleeve and attached it with alligator clips to make soldering the strips together easier. Then the shut-off valve is simply bent to the soldering point. They get a bit warm when using short lengths and I can see how they can burn…

Inexpensive but reliable, bright light and clean optics.

I did half the work on the last install and had to mickey the led strip. Suffice it to say that a 12-year-old was trying to impress a science teacher. So I measured the total distance (the third time I installed the LEDs - the last two strips didn't last more than a couple of months before they burned out) and then cut them off at the marks. see enclosed instructions. I used a 24v transformer. I advise you to do the same (I think you must do it). But it's amazing. It didn't flicker, didn't burn

wow bright. How really wow.

I understand these will be light. But my god. I installed them on the eaves of my house to indirectly illuminate the whole house. Looks great! I used 120V to 24V PWM Meanwell power supplies to drive the string. (Knowing they would be bright, I wanted to dim them to an appropriate level.) To allow the potentiometer to control the power supply, I reduced their brightness to about 30%. I'm not kidding when I say they are bright. The picture shows the first strip, darkened to the appropriate level.

Not even close to 21,000 lumens

I asked in the Q&A section why this LED strip with exactly the same wattage, number of LEDs, LED type and strip length as other LED strips almost twice as large is that of other LED strips. lumens The only published answer was that this band is made of the best material. So I bought it to double the light in my shop and am very disappointed. My regular $40 store lights are over 2x brighter than these LEDs (see before and after photos). These LEDs themselves are more like decorative lighting. At

Buy LED strips elsewhere

I bought LED strips at the beginning of the COVID pandemic. I didn't read all the details so it came with a plug that needs an adapter when it arrived. I bought an adapter for it and it didn't work so I returned it and went to the store to buy a new adapter but it still didn't work. So I went to the Amazon store page where I got this light bar and the adapter they recommended. It got lost in the mail and it took me almost 10 days to get to my house. I plugged it in and eventually the light came

Dangerous and dark junk

Well with these lights I've already passed the point of no return for two reasons. 1) The return window is closed and 2) I've already spent a lot of time fixing them. That's a waste of money. I bought a seller recommended AUTOLIVE power supply for powering LEDs. I attached them to the ceiling MYSELF (no tape btw) and then wired them up. They seemed a little lackluster for what was promised, but I ignored this first sign of cheap production. A few months later one of the lights went out. At…

Bright but buyers beware of factory wiring and disconnects

This is a great product with two main problems. 1) Factory installed coax connector and cable, although they look like heavy gauge cable they are actually only 30 gauge. with lots of insulation. I find it funny that they warn you not to run the light in the coil as it will overheat which is understandable, the LEDs generate heat and cannot dissipate it while winding. What they don't mention is that factory installed cables can get hot enough to burn you. You should cut this wiring immediately…

Bright light, pleasant color temperature.

I have just purchased two of these strips to illuminate an outdoor covered patio. Actual dimensions are 12 feet by 14 feet, so I needed 52 feet of lighting in total. I cut each strip to 26ft and installed with this controller: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PVRWFXD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 (I have a 24V 300W -Device used which now looks like it is out of stock). At full brightness these strips illuminate my deck space as brightly as you would want for a workshop…
