Works but missing part

So I got this for my 1995 GL1500 Goldwing with a leaking clutch master cylinder. the one between the c-clip and the piston) that holds the assembly in place. This is Honda part #45518-MB0-006 (item 13 on parts diagram page). While the image is correct for this article, I was hoping that it was an archive photo only and not something that was actually taken. Without this shim, the Master can still leak because it isn't pushed in deep enough and the C-clamp isn't designed to hold the piston. in…
