Not to be compared with bandage hydraulic seal

So, I have dry hands and huge deep cracks in my fingers. I started using the Hydro Seal patch and was very impressed. I chose a generic brand. I found them and gave them a chance. They don't really compare to the Hydro Seal patch brand. They stretch like crazy and if you don't wash your hands often or whatever they might work a little better. If I had to rate one patch brand it would get 5 stars overall. You get 16 of these for $10. You can get 8 patches for 3.50 at Walmart. So go with it.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Unsafe

Better than branded patches.

I have two toes that keep splitting and not healing so I change bandages often. I've tried branded and private label of these bandages and they don't even compare to these. They last longer on my finger, they last a few days and my fingers heal faster than other brands. They stick to my skin and aren't noticeable unless you look very closely. You get twice as many bandages for the same price as a well-known brand. I have already ordered two more boxes and will not return to other brands.

  • Great design

What do you like? for adhesive plaster

Whatever they are, they are not easy to handle. Loosening individual bandages was a bit of a problem, but I've seen others that were difficult. The problem I found with them is their elasticity. Works great as long as they don't break off and stick together. You take them out of the box and they stretch. I put one on and it looked and felt amazing, the problem was that it snapped and stuck to itself when I started. then he didn't hold on and moved away. The box is in the trash. I definitelyโ€ฆ

Bandages with hydrocolloid gel

They protect well, hold up well (I often wear them off my toes and heels, very heavy on my feet). of a pair of cheap hiking boots on an eight-mile hike. They cover the healing tissue very well and provide sufficient moisture to prevent further damage to the skin. They're relatively easy to remove if needed, although I try to leave them on to give the granulation tissue time to heal the blisters! I recommend them, they work just as well as the more expensive competitors bandages!

  • Ideal for outdoor activities

Just not very good at healthcare

It's terrible to wear. You don't have to be quick as it takes a few minutes to just take it out of the box and then peel off the backing so it doesn't jump, stretch or stick to itself. What about that little blue piece on the other end that you take away? Lol it just spins. I'll say once it's on, it's on. Get it right the first time because there is no conversion. Also, your wound will be sticky, so good luck trying to pull the blister out without peeling it off the skin. As you can imagine Iโ€ฆ

Being a T2 diabetic is a lifesaver!

I love that these amazing bandages form such a soft occlusal seal that they don't let any harmful substances in while my slow healing diabetic toe heals faster and more completely than with ANY other form of bandage โ€“ and no separate ointment or medication required - although I do use an iodine swab initially when my tiny tiptoe lesion gets worse rather than better! They stay in place between showers and I love that they can stay in place for up to 3 days! Long enough for my pesky longestโ€ฆ

Perfect for my finger wound, easy to redo

I have no idea how the healing material works but it's comfortable, easy to use and I think it helps the tip of my nail bed on my index finger to heal better . I used a vegetable peeler on a large carrot and thought I was in control, but I shaved off the top right corner of my left index finger. Luckily it was mostly a nail and indeed part of the skin wound looks like a tiny piece of bug. It's gentle though and I've finally found a patch that can last all day and now I can do almost anything Iโ€ฆ
