Semi Bright LED Bulbs

I bought these to replace anemic halogen lamps in a GE microwave countertop . They are much larger than standard bulbs but barely fit. The pins are also long enough to fit into the unusual connectors that GE uses. Although significantly brighter than the original 20? Watt halogen lamps do not correspond to 75 watts. They work pretty cool and the energy saving is worth it. To my surprise, they also worked with the two-stage dimmer in the GE microwave.

The base is too big for most devices.

The LED lamp base does not fit the size of the halogen lamps it is designed to replace. The base is much wider and didn't fit in the mount. I had to change the fixings to fit the bulb but this made the pins more exposed. I didn't have to modify the fixture to make the bulbs fit as they were meant to match the dimensions of the halogen bulbs they are supposed to replace. I also wish the bulbs were a bit brighter and had better color choices. 3000K is too yellow and 5000-6000K is too blue…

Slight size difference but they work well

I bought these LED lights to replace my old 75w GY8.6 halogen bulbs for my 18 year old outdoor spotlights hoping they would fit individually. However, the LEDs were slightly larger in diameter and length, but the 2 pins matched perfectly. While the extra length did not interfere with the installation, the diameter was too large to allow the lamps to be inserted through the metal reflector funnels and the pins were not long enough to fit past the smaller radius. You can see small differences…
