UNIVERSAL - Rack can be used on ATVS, bicycles, shooting carts and treestands to carry rifles, shotguns, bows, fishing rods, shovels as well as other gear and tools. ROTATE - Full 360-Degree rotation will custom fit different sized objects by simply twisting the holder and locking the wing nut. METAL COMPONENTS - Internal steel core covered in soft rubber and high quality aluminum mounting blocks make a durable product that is built to last. CUSHION - Rubber fins cushion and grip item being carried; Alternating long and short rubber fins provide a perfect fit. SECURE - Blocks mount to handlebars and any tubular/square bars or railings 1โ„2โ€ to 1โ€ in diameter with steel u-bolts; Rubber straps attach over holders so you wonโ€™t lose them and provide added security.

Rugged, well built and easy to install

Very strong construction, not cheap plastic. I tried a gun for the first time yesterday. With the buttstock on the bottom of the Viking VI, the rifle rode confidently and remained perfectly still and protected throughout the ride. Since they are sold in pairs I will be able to move the second mount elsewhere and carry two long guns on the range. I have already recommended them to friends with UTVs and ATVs. The mounting clips are not intended for mounting on the roll cage frame. As you can seeโ€ฆ

Still perfect over 20 years

I installed them on my 1996 Honda FourTrax and 2000 on my Rancher and they both still work. My original kits are a bit thinner and don't have rubber grip fingers. I just put this upgraded model on my 2019 Honda Rancher and it looks sharp. I like the thicker rubber and I think the fingers/fins are a good addition. My old Hondas have 3/4" tubing for storage racks (not gun racks but ATV racks), my new Rancher has 1" tubing. The more powerful new All-Rite gun racks pair well with the Rancher'sโ€ฆ

Works well to keep rifle safe while driving - no problem.

No problem with this product. Holds the rifle snugly and securely without undue stress or wear on the stock or scope (scabbard/scabbard not used). Rubber forks and a small flip-up rubber valve hold the rifle securely in place without scratching or stressing the scope. However, I have not tested them in sub-zero temperatures. A short bungee cord may also be needed to ensure that the weapon is completely fixed. I rode a few miles of hilly, creek crossing terrain without incident (no bungee). Iโ€ฆ
