Great addition to my Jeep!

I installed this on my 2005 Jeep Liberty CRD. Unfortunately, the adapter I needed was not included in the kit, but I had bought one from another antenna. I damaged part of the cover during installation, but it's my fault for using the wrong tool. Reception is just as good as the original, but without the long-flying whip while driving.

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Modern

I was a little disappointed that this wasn't listed in the description

Works very well. I've seen a weaker signal on some stations but I still can't hear them. If you are installing it on a Jeep Wrangler JK you will need to purchase the 6201 adapter. I was a bit disappointed that this was not listed in the description. Some of the black fairing was chipped off at the top but I touched it up with some of the black gloss touch up paint I had for the bike.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Nothing here

Great reception and looks a lot better than the original

My truck was put on a lift and the stock antenna hit the top of the garage door. I chose Stubbie 21. Reception is excellent, maybe even better than OEM. Doesn't fly out of my garage. The antenna is quite heavy. I would suggest using blue Lock-Tite for the threads. I didn't do this on the original install and after a few rides the antenna became very loose. You don't want this thing falling off while driving. This will cause damage. After attaching the clamp I had no problems with the weakening…

Solid build and great reception

I have a 2017 Ford F-250, I was looking for a replacement for the old one. I don't like bullets or short ones. I wanted something shorter than the cabin. I tried several different ones and while they looked better than the stock ones, the reception got a bit fuzzy. I had one of these on my '96 Dodge and loved the look and feel. When I saw these, I decided to give it a try. You can already feel the quality in the packaging. It comes with a few adapters but mine fits my truck perfectly. I'm…

The antenna adapter did not fit my 2014 Jeep Wrangler JK.

Antenna adapter doesn't fit my 2014 Jeep Wrangler JK as it needs a different adapter than the ones they send with it while they mention it fits so now I have to buy an adapter so I can can post another check if it's worth buying while it's out. Update my review after receiving the adapter and trying to install it. It looks better than the original at first, but there's no way to install it without scratching the antenna paint. I had to cut off a piece of the water hose so I could wrap it around

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes

  • Disappears

Nice looking antenna, good reception - great customer service

These are very nice antennas. I love the bolder look of my 2004 F150 (it goes well with the truck's charcoal gray too). It's a bit shorter than my standard antenna, which is good since my standard antenna hit the garage door (it was bigger than the truck). I did not notice any deterioration in radio reception. As others have pointed out, it comes with multiple adapters to fit any (?) car. I used pliers (with a rag to avoid scratching) to tighten mine and had no problem loosening it. A word of…
