I almost didn't buy them after reading the one star review but I really needed a pair and didn't want to spend a lot of money. (I can't understand why cleavage scissors are so expensive!). . Only cuts well over 1 inch, not to the tip, not to the handle. :( Almost useless. I'm looking for another brand to buy. UPDATE: 4/11/2016 - I removed them because they were annoying and useless. I forgot and just tried to use them again. USELESS. Trash, den they go, I wouldn't even donate them to someone else to spend my money on. :(

Originally I wanted to buy sewing scissors in name only (because I have other "regular" scissors from a different brand that I like). I'm so glad I read the reviews! Oh my God! They are good quality, easy to use and just what I needed. They are not too uncomfortable to hold and have some weight. But I just don't think you can do that with rose braid scissors. They are perfect for cutting triangles for banners. I definitely recommend them! You can't beat them for the price!

Ignored the negative reviews and decided to heed the positives. I'm so glad I did! I needed firelighter scissors that could be used for different fabrics. These fit the bill! Once I had them, I tried cutting through an old t-shirt, vintage upholstery, jeans, and lightweight jeans. Everything is cut cleanly, without any effort.
