This strap is as expected. I love it. It's a bit wider than most belts, but still fits perfectly through the belt loop found on all my suits. It's very slightly relaxed and feels good. The clasp is strong. It's a little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. By the way, I am very happy that I can buy a belt made in USA.

I bought this belt to replace a very high quality belt bought in Italy. The quality of the leather and tailoring are excellent. My belt is black so I can't comment on the tears mentioned in other reviews. The leather trim on mine looks like aniline leather with paint all over the material. The belt trim is flexible (very hard to find in American belts). The quality of the metal buckle is excellent.

The belt fits as expected and initially appeared to be of good quality however within a month the surface began to wear and crack . Seems to be very poor quality for a $100+ belt, consistent with normal department store belts at half the price. Unfortunately, this is the only belt that matches the color of my AE shoes, otherwise I would have worn something else.
