This belt is premium in quality and construction. Exactly what you would expect from Alan Edmonds. However, be aware that if you buy this belt with an old pair of Chili shoes, you will be disappointed. They do not fit together. It looks like the company is now making items in a new, darker color and calling it 'Chili.' Actually, the new color is known as "dark chili," but they just call it chili. If you're marketing your shoes as a product of a lifetime, I think you should expect some buyers to take it seriously and have owned resoled shoes for over 20 years. You have to distinguish colors correctly! Also note that if you select a waist size when ordering, you will receive the wrong belt size! I chose the waist measurement because the belt size is listed under the waist measurement and is grayed out. This led me to believe they were telling me that a 40" waist required a 42" belt. Yes, I know that. But after deciding on a 40" waist, they sent me a 40" belt. It makes no sense to specify both sizes. They are not interchangeable. Who sends belts does not understand! You can select the size you want even if it is not active!
