Great product but why sell organic cotton and vinyl wrap? It would be great to eliminate some types of packaging and make packaging more sustainable. otherwise great product. 5* for product, 1* for packaging. Just a thought to the suppliers and thanks for a good product at a reasonable price.

I buy organic all the time and I'm very sensitive to smells. They COULD BE MADE from organic cotton but straight out of the bag I noticed a smell like they've been treated with some kind of chemical or dry cleaned. This is NOT the smell of pure cotton. I recognize the smell of other products I've bought before and know that the cause of that smell doesn't wash out/weather for many weeks.

It's a shame I didn't read the reviews more carefully. What's the point of organic if it's soaked in chemicals? Multiple washes/airs/soaks are required if you don't want your face pressed against a chemical face bomb. Not to mention my queen pillow (which is admittedly a very generous pillow) only fits if I crumple it into a big, thick, dense ball. Would have sent them back but as the stench was overwhelming I foolishly washed them straight away. waste of money.

Dude I beat that thing up, not on purpose, but it's withstood some serious abuse! It's a quality product and while it's not 'cheap' it definitely isn't cheap so I think it's worth the premium for the money. This product is not of the quality I expected for the price. I agree with other reviewers about misleading advertising. It clearly says "2 packs" and I received one per pack. I also agree with others about the weird black dots throughout the footage. He had hair too, just awful. I washed before use which I always do. Just received mine but wanted to disprove other bad reviews. I am odor sensitive and this does not have a strong chemical odor. However, when I hold it to my nose, I can smell the plastic of the packaging it comes in. I assume it will come out in the wash. Black spots appear to be completely normal in natural fibers. Good construction, NOT a queen cover, slightly larger than standard but at least it doesn't stuff the pillow like a sausage into the cover, allowing the pillow to move a bit. They're definitely more standard than double beds, so don't buy them if you have double pillows that can't stand being stacked. I like their piping and invisible zippers and the fact that they are natural. Yes they are unbleached so there will be stains and color variation and that is to be expected.
