Smelly but overall good value for money.

Wow, that thing stunk when I took it out of the box! I washed it 3 times before giving up and hanging it in the garage to air out for a couple of weeks. After another wash I put it on top of the futon I bought it for. Fits well and the zipper works perfectly. It took a while but now I'm happy with this purchase.

Great mattress and box spring protector

I bought these for my mother's king size mattress and box spring last summer. Both fit perfectly! I'm impressed with their fit and quality, I highly recommend them. My only regret is not buying it for my own mattress and when they were at a lower price. I didn't have any weird smells when I took them out of the box like other reviewers have said, but maybe I was just lucky. Care Tip: Cold water and mild detergent, tumble dry or line dry.

This is mostly good as far as I can tell, probably the only good option on the market in this price range

mattress and this was the only option I could find on the market without it $250 to pay for organic cotton. Due to my chemical sensitivity I would prefer organic cotton. I had to do without synthetic materials. That was my best choice. As soon as I opened the package it smelled so bad. Very strong synthetic smell. I almost returned it immediately, but I decided to make it work because there are no other options. I had to wash it twice to get the smell out and then let it air out for a week…
