🌈 Almay Smart Shade CC Cream, Light to Medium Coverage Review

I was looking for an all in one moisturizer/foundation/sunscreen and decided on this product. It needs a little shaking and tends to separate a little, so I'm not giving it five stars. Plus, it goes on smoothly, builds up coverage, and provides decent coverage. I love that this flat tube is just the right size to carry in hand luggage when flying. It saves on the amount of liquid products you need to take with you when you travel as it moisturizes, covers and protects your face from the sun.

I really wanted to like this. I usually love Almay products but this one just doesn't fit with the rest of their line. Ever since they discontinued their Smart Shade/Smart Balance product (which is pretty darn cool) I've been trying to find a replacement. It's not like this. My skin is a combination of some dry and oily spots and this product just brings out all the ugly spots I'm trying to hide. If your skin texture is good and you're just trying to balance the color, this might work for you…

I'll be 60 in 6 months and my skin is normal and dry but can easily become dry if I'm not using mature skincare products. This CC cream is exactly as advertised, creamy, moist and easy to apply without looking unnatural. I applied 1-3 layers of cream on different days and after 8-10 hours wear it was still moist and natural looking.
