The bars look great but where my bars had dimples the metal was sticking out a bit and I increased the overall diameter of the bar where the dimples are. This made it impossible to install my switches and I ended up dropping the strip altogether. In my opinion he was in too serious a condition to return.

Hammered. The dimples made this a painful cause as the tube expands around it, making the controls very difficult to install. I ended up making my own holes for the controls. Looks great and very tuff steel. Black scratches easily but use the film it came in and cut off the area you don't want to scratch. Then when that's done, just rip it off. still happy Good to know for the next man.

Good handlebar, fits my 2010 Sportster 48. The bend angles are quite small. I would have liked 10 degrees more bending, therefore deducted 1 star. The barrel ends and the knurling of the clip are not lacquered, but are completely covered by the grips and the barrel clip. Because the 48 has a wide triple clamp, you will need at least 30" wide handlebars to fit your throttle and front brake reservoir without risers.

Paint scratches slightly. In addition, the cut-outs for the handset on the underside distort the round profile of the rods and thus make assembly more difficult. I had to sand down the paint and then use a large clamp to reshape the bars so the controls could be installed. Also, I had to cut 1/4 inch off each end of the rods to allow the gas tube to fit together properly and eliminate the unusually large gap between the grips and controls.
