🎶 Altec Lansing iMT620 inMotion Classic Portable Stereo Speaker - Black: Superior Sound On-The-Go Review

I like most Altec Lansing products. I ordered an im620 to replace an im600 that wasn't running on battery only for some reason. The im620 is a nice little speaker but for some reason I prefer the sound of the im600, unfortunately the im600 is no longer made so the im620 is the next best thing.

I use my speaker system every day to browse Pandora and other websites on my iPhone. I also take classes once a week and take them home to complement my words with music from my iPod. We have a three story house and I like the ease of moving it from floor to floor. Sound! It fills the room and more! Thank you, thank you, thank you Altec Lansing! This is exactly what I was looking for!

I bought this for travel and despite the petite looks of this guy, couldn't be happier. Great for rock, electronic or classical music and even hip hop (in a small case it can be so low. But the best part is that it lasts 7 hours on a single charge and is one of the most portable docks I've ever had ever seen), the handle doubles as a stand and the remote control is simple and intuitive.

I've tried several iPhone/iPod speakers in the past and when my last one stopped working I went with this one even though it was a bit bigger My old Inmotion- players. But wow, I'm so glad I did. The sound is the best I've heard, even on more expensive models. The remote control and the charging function are also a plus. I am very happy with this purchase. It works great with my iPhone 4s and charges it when plugged in.

I bought this unit because I wanted to listen to music at a low volume when I went to sleep. The music I play is ambient, so there are very quiet parts in it. At the volume I liked, the unit turned off after a few minutes. It is important to note that this automatic shutdown occurs regardless of whether the device is connected to a charger. I have contacted Altek. They said it's a feature on all their models and it can't be turned off. This is disappointing as there is no information on the web

I really like these speakers, they are very easy to use, the sound is great! For the person who thinks it's a party in a box, it's not. But I only use noise levels in the normal range when I'm outside in my garden or working in the kitchen, that's more than enough and it sounds amazing. It has a nice remote that has its own compartment on the back, but you can't get very far or it won't work and you have to point it straight at it, not at an angle.
