Big thick blade for straight vertical cuts

Fantastic ruler and ruler The thick edge along one side of the ruler is great for guiding X-Acto knives and makes for a perfectly vertical blade. This ruler is essential for cutting foam board and other thick materials where cutting the back is just as important as the front.

Pros
  • Dope
Cons
  • Anything I can add

perfect for my needs

perfect for my needs. It has a rubber bottom so it stays in place when you need to make cuts. The finger guide helps keep the ruler in place and prevents nicks when cutting. The line is absolutely straight. I bought it a bit used so there was a dent in one corner but that doesn't affect the line in any way. Definitely recommended if you need a large ruler and need to cut materials from time to time.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

And it has a distinct finger dimple and a thick ridge along one edge. The combination of these two features allows you to apply enough pressure to hold the ruler securely in place while cutting. You're unlikely to slip and get your fingers in the way of the blade, and it won't slip. This is especially important…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No productivity

The product is of very good quality. Ideal for cutting as intended.

I work in a carpentry shop and bought this ruler to cut veneer to size and also to mark stitches for alignment. It's perfect for both of you. There is a rubber material attached to the bottom of the ruler which is great as it keeps the tip of the ruler from shifting when pressure is applied from above. The inch and mm markings are clear and easy to read, and I really like how one side slopes flush while the other side acts more as a blade guide for cutting. It even has a "finger groove," a…
