So convenient - wish I had ordered this years ago

Wanted a T square to make drawing lines easier. I finally ordered one. I'm glad I did. This T-square is well done. Exactly. Good length so it works well with poster sized paper. I'm happy.

Useless as a square or ruler

For the money I definitely don't expect perfection. But that T-square wasn't rectangular (3/16 is over 24 inches) and the blade itself wasn't straight. I've tested it with the new Starrett ruler, the new Starrett combination square, the technical trial square, the large metal ruler, and hand-drawn a line and flipped it over. Because the railing on this T-Square is plastic and held together with cheap aluminum rivets, it is not adjustable. So basically useless. I sincerely hope that students who

Note: The Hubble mirror was ground exactly to the wrong specifications

Although the blade is very heavy and well drawn, the handle (letter "T") is slightly concave on the inner edge. This makes the blade wobble on my drawing board. As one end of the T moves away from the platter, there is noticeable movement of the blade as the concave surface of the head changes the orientation of the blade with respect to the platter. It seems to me that this is an invention in my head and not a mistake in my square.
