D&F CNC Protective Case: GoPro Hero 6 Skeleton Frame with UV Lens & Backdoor Design - Ultimate Protection Review

This is a solid case in every sense of the word. I have two problems. The GoPro is attached with a screw and a thin piece of plastic. This makes me nervous because the GoPro is expensive and it would be so stupid to ruin it with the case I bought to protect it. The second problem is the door. It slides very easily and is easy to remove. The only problem is that it slides so close to the GoPro screen that it makes me nervous. I think I'd be happier with one that didn't have a sliding flap.

I won't lie I was skeptical when I first saw this. A complete case for less than $30?! Let's just say my expectations were low. But once installed these guys are a beast! It's the perfect setup for those b-roll shots you've always dreamed of. Want to put a gun mic on it? No problem! set up a tripod? Of course! Run over by train? I haven't tried it but I'm sure the train will derail before it breaks down. Works great with GoPro Hero 7 for anyone getting Christmas gifts.

I bought another one without the sliding rear cover and it was complete crap. Poor fit, scratched my Hero 6 when trying to put it in a case. THIS case is 100% perfect! Inserts easily without tapping. The back fits perfectly. The battery compartment is easy to open. All buttons and displays are easily accessible and clearly visible. The lens area covers the LCD a bit, but it's a small compromise you'll have to pay for so you can use standard-sized lens filters. I highly recommend this case if…

After purchasing this case, the screw holding the GoPro mount to the bottom of the case came loose and then I lost the back door that holds the GoPro in the case holds. I emailed the company to see if they would sell me just the tailgate but no one replied (and still no reply months later). I decided to purchase a second suitcase as the first suitcase could not be used without the back door.
