This product does exactly what it's designed to do! This allows me to attack the GoPro directly on the tripod or my gimbal. I bought two so I would have a backup in case one breaks. However, I highly doubt I'll ever need it. Highly recommended!

I'll say that first. The building is great! It feels very well made and durable. The reason for the 3 stars is that he appears to be getting naked and not holding up well and is only a month old. Well if you never take it off. Great product, just wish the carving was better.

This metal mount is durable, but you have to really tighten the screw because the smooth metal mount slides easily over the plastic Go-Pro covers. Plastic on plastic has more friction so you don't have to tighten as hard. I'm considering sanding or chemical treating the mount to give it some grip so I don't tire my fingers when turning that screw.

When I bought my Akaso Brave 4, I also bought accessories for it. Many accessories broke after a month of use. All are made of hard plastic. So I started looking for a replacement. I found this tripod mount to be aluminum. This product is of good quality. The price difference is negligible because cheap accessories have to be replaced again and again. Conclusion Buy quality accessories like this product.

In my opinion a very well made product. It is precisely crafted and the black finish is free from imperfections. However, I wish they had machined a hex into the thumb grip instead of a hole so I could tighten it. It's great for holding a gopro on a tripod that's on the ground, which is why I give it 5 stars, but I can always tilt the gopro with relative ease, although the grip is a good diameter and knotty and jagged.

Good quality part, unfortunately I did not know that it does not work with GoPro 8 Media Mod. While the base fits snugly, the thumbscrew collided with the media module so hard that it was unable to tighten the GoPro without damaging the media module. I replaced the thumbscrew with the one that came with the GoPro and it barely works. The problem is that the tolerances on the bottom of the GoPro housing are limited without a media mod. MM was probably an afterthought during the design process.

Looking for some sort of tripod mount/mount for my GoPro to do POV, I came across Skyjffj's aluminum mount. Its thick aluminum construction makes it very durable when mounted on a GoPro, and the knurled knob makes it easy to adjust quality as you manipulate the mount. I was skeptical at first, but now that I've tried it and ridden several hundred miles with no issues, I'd say it's excellent value for money, especially when compared to a factory G#P?* tripod mount.

I was looking for a mount to mount my GoPro camera on a standard tripod. The SKYJFFJ features an all-metal construction and is extremely durable, bigger than any official GoPro accessory!
