AlvinTap (Protective DTap) to 2.1*5.5mm DC 12v Right Angle Cable. Source power from Gold Mount batteries, Gold Mount Plates, V Mount batteries and from cameras with on-board d-tap output. Adapter cable allows you to Power LCD's ,Lectrosonic, Lowel Blender LED, PowerTap-Lectro and other devices. Please Note: there is no regulator in the cable, so the input is same like the output, please make sure your battery power output same like your device power input. LCD interface cable for AF100, GH1/GH2. Panavision, Arriflex, Moviecam, Arricam, Betacam & all other cine/broadcast rigs. Alvin Safe Tap to 5.5x2.1mm DC Right Angle Plug. AlvinTap (Protective DTap): It can prevent your device from short circuits caused by reverse insertion or using an incompatible cable, which will avoid damaging your device.Built-in microprocessor electronic control can identify automatically whether the plug inserts positively. External Monitor: Cables and Wires

Use Dtap to 2.5mm cables to connect external monitors. Used with Ikan 5" Monitor and Atomos Shogun Inferno, worked great with both.

Great cable: Accessories

Really well built cable. I use it to power my Atomos Shogun with a Vlock battery. Has worked great through months of intense production days. So far, so good!

Deteriorated with very little use

I bought several cables from this company and they have proven themselves well. I had this cable as a battery backup so I only used it 3 or 4 times. It's already messed with a sporadic connection and it happened at work. Luckily we had other light sources, but now I'm a bit wary.

Good enough - camera and photo

The build quality is good enough to probably last a while in my TV production job. The P-Tap is snug, but not too tight. However, the outer diameter of the DC connector is too small. It's loose in the Lectrosonics battery rectifier socket on my LR receiver. I need to apply a piece of hafelt tape to make sure it stays connected. I probably should have found a DC latching plug, but now gaff. Despite the loosening, I never lost power to the receiver unless the plug came all the way out, which it…
