Review on Alvin's Cables AlvinTap (Protective DTap) to 2.1 DC 12v Right Angle Cable, 60CM - Compatible with KiPRO LCD Monitors by Anthony Heinrichs

The build quality is good enough to probably last a while in my TV production job. The P-Tap is snug, but not too tight. However, the outer diameter of the DC connector is too small. It's loose in the Lectrosonics battery rectifier socket on my LR receiver. I need to apply a piece of hafelt tape to make sure it stays connected. I probably should have found a DC latching plug, but now gaff. Despite the loosening, I never lost power to the receiver unless the plug came all the way out, which it did a couple of times without a gaff. Of course, this can be an overly active cameraman, although I try to keep dangling cords to a minimum with bongo zip ties. BTW I bought two to use with two Lectro receivers and both have the same weak connection. All in all a good buy, although for what I'm using them for the blocking might be better.
