Worked great. The SATA side is hot-swappable, but the IDE side is not. Although there are no problems with it; just turn it off and on again. Due to a death in the family I had to sort out 9 hard drives. That made the task easier. For some reason my old dock didn't work in Win10. Also, my old IDE didn't support it, but in this case I had a bunch of IDE disks in the stack. In general, we managed to save a few thousand photos and several documents.

What a bargain! This adapter is very well built and durable. Thick cables with strong shielding. This is NOT a cheap device. Comes with software that I haven't used but may use in the future. Don't listen to reviews that don't read your hard drive. If it isn't read, your hard drive isn't working. I've used all 3 ports for the various drives I had and they all work fine. Purchased to install my Playstation 2 physical drives on an internal hard drive in the console that only uses the now older, less common IDE hard drive interface.
