The insulators at the bottom of the hard shell bags have no notches to hold them in place so they fall out every time you remove the bag and if you don't remember you need another set ! I had to apply glue to the nipple to keep it in place!

They do what they're supposed to, but the rubber bushings are very stiff. Most of them get a lot softer to work with the mounting holes on hard shell bags, but they are very hard and make it very difficult to get through the holes. However, once inside, they do what they have to.

Buffers work great, small nipples pulled out through the bottom of the bag won't snap, but nothing that could be fixed with a silicone swab. As for eyelets? They won't work with the hard cases I had on my 1996 RK without enlarging the holes for them, which I won't do, so I threw them away.

The bushings supplied with these kits are the wrong size. The pillows are ok and that's why I gave this offer 2 stars. The through hole is too small for the metal support pin and the inner diameter is too big to fit the rigid pocket hole. Too bad, because it's a fair price if the sockets are right. Bushings typically wear out long before the pads wear out, so properly sized bushings are a great selling point. Someone should contact the supplier about this, but I'm sure they already know.

Saddlebag grommets are thicker and have a wider groove than Original Equipment. The wider groove means they won't fit snugly in the saddlebag holes. It is assumed that the lower rubber isolators are held in place by a plug or nipple cast into the isolator. These plugs/nipples are small and allow the isolator to fall out of the saddlebag if installed or removed for any reason.
